Course Description

Students participating in this week long camp will be able to complete a variety of different sheet metal projects, hear from Camosun instructors and speakers within the sheet metal industry, and learn the necessary safety skills to stay safe throughout their week and during future experiences. Students will be responsible for having steel-toed shoes and wearing appropriate clothing.

Payments

  • Fees are due upon registration and are payable by credit card.

Refunds/Withdraws

  • A 100% refund is provided up to seven (7) calendar days prior to the start date of the course. No refunds are provided after this date.
  • To withdraw from a course, navigate to the Student Portal > My enrollment history.
  • If a withdraw box appears next to your current course, you are eligible to withdraw from it with a 100% refund.

  • Student financial support is available if needed. Please contact SIP office at sip@camosun.bc.ca

Prerequisites

  • Open to SIP students born between January 2009 and December 2011 (entering grade 7 to entering grade 9)
  • Students must be enrolled in one of the following school districts: 61, 62, 63, 64 and 79
  • Students are required to wear steel toed shoes and appropriate clothing (long, non-synthetic pants (ie. jeans), t-shirt or long-sleeved shirts, long hair in a pony tail, no dangling jewelry).
