Course Description

You know your files are in that computer, but can you find them easily? If you own a Macintosh laptop, you need to understand how and why to plan your e-filing system in Finder. You'll learn to customize the toolbar and sidebar, use the spotlight to search, move, copy, paste, rename and use a flash drive. Learn these and many more time-saving tips and tools.Taught using the Sierra operating system but older versions are welcome.

Notes

You must bring your mac laptop and power cord to class.

Prerequisites

BSCM 503G – Computers Level 1 for Mac, or equivalent skills. You must be able to: identify the Dock and add an application; open a new Finder window; close an app vs. a window; identify the Menu Bar and toolbar in any application; use right click and Mac System Preferences.
