CPIM 512V - CPIM Part 2 - Advanced Production and Inventory Management
Course Description
This Program builds on the basics covered in Part 1. This course will cover at a high degree of detail all the processes that make up an end to end supply chain in a manufacturing/distribution environment. (This course will run in Winter, 2020.)More advanced concepts in supply chain are covered including: complete planning processes of a manufacturing/distribution organization to support demand and supply balancing, inventory Management and the processes that create inventory such as MRP, controlling operations through push and pull scheduling techniques and strategic positioning and consideration of processes to support business strategies.
This comprehensive training course will provide students with information and tools to master the Certified in Production and Inventory Management (CPIM) body of knowledge. It is the only single resource available that is designed specifically to help candidates pass the exam. The learning system materials will include printed materials, progress checks, quizzes, practice exams and case studies.
Exam: Upon completion of this course, students are eligible to write the CPIM certification exam. Information can be found at www.apics.org. The exam is 3.5 hours long and contains 150 multiple choice questions. Exams can be taken at any time dependent on availability at testing centers. These exam centers are located throughout Greater Victoria.
