Course DescriptionThis course is to meet the requirements of the Marine Personnel Regulations for the Domestic Fishing, Chief Mate and Master certificate of competency. These competencies will help promote safety of life at sea, protection of marine environment in regards of training of our masters and officers in the application of electronic navigation systems and instrument typically found onboard coastal vessels and maintaining watch-keeping standards. And will provide the student with the knowledge of the principles, the ability to use and the skill required for the proper operation of typical navigation electronic equipment found on board a coastal vessel.

Course duration: 30 hours
Students must have successfully completed at least the following training examinations prior to register for the SEN-L training course:
1) Radio Communication (ROC-M) or (ROC-MC)
2) Chartwork and Navigational Safety at the level required for the desired CoC.
