A Candidate Document Number (CDN) is required by Transport Canada prior to issuing training certificates. It is strongly recommended that you contact Transport Canada and obtain a CDN prior to taking a course.
Transport Canada approved Formula Sheet can now be used during the Stability Exams (SCS 3, 4 & 5) at Camosun College.
Nautical Bursaries and Awards
Congratulations to David Rutherford, recipient of the Watchkeeping Mate Award of Excellence for earning the highest aggregate marks on the Transport Canada examinations this year. This award was jointly provided by BC Ferries and the Thermopylae Club.
David also received the Marine Technology Award in Nautical Continuous Education, as the Nautical CE student who demonstrated the most interest in continuous education and improvement of knowledge.
