In addition to offering Continuing Education courses for the public, we work with employers to develop customized and innovative training solutions for their employees. We help businesses fill skill gaps, address challenges within their workforce, plan for future growth and development, and implement new technologies and innovations in their industry.
Our Learning Solutions team will work with clients to accurately assess their training needs. We use instructors and subject matter experts from Camosun or internationally recognized experts from around the world to create a flexible training plan that meets their budget and schedule. Daytime, evening or weekend workshops can be arranged and delivered at your worksite or at our college facilities.

Would you like assistance with employee training costs?
The Canada Job Grant is a cost-sharing program that encourages employers to invest in training for new or current employees. The grants cover most tuition and mandatory fees, for essential skills training, technical training, business training, management and leadership training and short-term certificate training.
These programs or courses are offered through Camosun’s Contract Training division, Continuing Education, and Access, Business and Trades & Technology Schools. Employers can receive up to two-thirds of the cost of training to a maximum government contribution of $10,000 per grant; employers must contribute the remaining one-third.
