Course Description

This 1 day course will guide students through all aspects of confined space awareness, in accordance with WorkSafe BC Part 9.  This comprehensive course will explain in detail what you need to know, emphasize key points and test your knowledge retention. You will learn best practices on requirements prior to work entry, what happens while workers are in the space and what happens when work is done for the day.  Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) will be reinforces so everyone understands their legal requirement. We will look at lockout equipment and discuss lockout procedures.  The day will finish with a knowledge based test to gauge student comprehension of the information presented.
