The Foundations of Supply Chain Management offers the largest catalog of foundational supply chain education, providing learners of all levels with enhanced knowledge and new opportunities for career success. Learners will earn a letter of completion upon finishing a course.

This module focuses on understanding, forecasting, and influencing consumer demand for products and services. Students will explore techniques for market analysis, demand forecasting, and inventory planning to meet customer needs efficiently.

Sales and Operations Planning and Master Scheduling

  • Master Scheduling Processes (POP09)

Operations planning is the ability to take a company’s strategy and break it down into manageable action items. This module introduces the essential concepts and tools required to plan to your company’s strategy.

Material Requirements Planning

  • Basics of Material Requirements Planning (PMM04)
  • Managing with MRP (PMM05)

This module explores the fundamental principles and techniques used to manage inventory and production scheduling. Students will learn how MRP systems facilitate the timely procurement of materials needed for manufacturing while optimizing inventory levels.

Capacity Management and Production Activity Control

  • Production Activity Control (PMM08)

This module focuses on optimizing production resources to meet customer demands efficiently. Students will explore techniques for capacity planning, scheduling, and monitoring production activities in real-time.
